my suggestion is to add a vote of timeout in the Draw/Forfeit area that both players have to accept for a timeout of 2 or 3 minutes.
because of the comp taking so long you might need mid comp to take a bathroom break, or to go and drink water, or bring something to eat, or just a little break.
