1. Great elo reset is a big update I think so updating the version could make sense
2. Could lead to interesting goals since you can pie for sulfur (shear a block from a sulfur cube, 6 bucket tech, nausea tech, get pushed by a geyser, add sulfur spikes to die to dripstone)
3. I wanna play harha in q without multi instancing

my solution to allowed mods would be having an official draftout modpack published on modrinth

both modrinth app and prism allow updating modrinth modpacks easily, though tbf it is still a button you need to press

idk it kinda feels too intrusive for a mod to change your minecraft version and all of your mods for you if it just worked like regular mod updates

ig im partially saying this because im thinking of how theres no easy way (afaik) to do it for prism, if there was a launcher that allowed updating a modpack through cli it'd be better

maybe even better if the mod could tell
- which launcher are you using
- whether youre using the modpack
and give you instructions based on that how to update, and suggest using the modpack if youre not using it and arent on official launcher or smth
