Severe FPS Drop and PC Freeze Issue in Draftout Mod

My friend and I have played over 10 Draftout 1v1 matches in total. At first, we had no issues during our first 3 matches. However, the next day, we tried to play 4 matches. The first one was perfectly fine, but during the following 3 matches, my PC started lagging so heavily that I had no choice but to force restart it. When I booted it back up and reconnected, I was able to continue from where I left off without any problems.
After that, I uninstalled all my other mods, leaving only the Draftout mod active. We played 5-6 matches again and everything was completely normal. But when we logged in again a few days later (today), the exact same thing happened. My FPS dropped to 2-3, my PC lagged incredibly hard, and the game became completely unplayable. I couldn't even control the computer anymore, so I was forced to shut it down again. Once again, after I restarted and reconnected, I could play normally.
Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or how to fix it?

is it possible that you're running out of disk space on your PC? each draftout game generates a minecraft world which can take up a good bit of space if you don't delete them afterwards

Maybe, but I checked and it takes up 20 GB of space while playing
