idk how this isn't common knowledge but if you mine 9 clay and the 4 clay in the stonecutter house, (so 13 clay if you make the stonecutter) you can buy chiseled stone bricks from a mason at level 2.

If this is common knowledge then this is embarrassing but I have never seen someone do it in draft out and I have seen a lot of people smelt the 8 stone in a village with a stonecutter available

This can be really good if there is an easy access lake near the village where you can get 52 or 36 clay balls very easily

this works with 10 clay to buy 20 bricks + 8 chiseled stone bricks as well

the tradeoff is basically whether you want to mine 3 more clay for 3 bonus emeralds (but no brick trade, unless you want to ig)

can use the 3 emeralds to buy a bucket or w/e so it can still be better depending on the board

theres two expert trades, and the 6% is for one of these trades to be quartz
the thing that splits the 7th trade and the 8th trade only applies to bedrock
