"Break Fishing Rod" goal

objectives

break a fishing rod by using it (5 durability lost for mobs, 3 lost for items, 2 lost for if it's landed on a block, and 1 lost for actually using it as intended) it feels kind of weird that there's no fishing rod goal unless you count carrot on a stick (probably because its a mechanic that needs a revamp ahem mojang)

The goal around rods should just either be fishy business or more mid game 'Catch Junk or Treasure'

If u have nothing but an ocean ruin or DT string for example this is already tech for break tool

I do agree it feels like there should be a fishing rod goal even if it is nearly useless in vanilla

catch a certain item seems a bad idea, because both players have same seed so same catches. its just a race who gets the rod.

I think the goal feels like obtain fishing rod as theres only 2 possible ways to do it and both are pretty fast - this doesn’t make it a bad goal though

I do think the hook unique mobs is pretty good

The only difference between spy and hook would be how close you have to get and ofc the item itself but I think its good

The frod breaks after I think 13 mobs hooked so presumably the X(s) would be under that

Can you swap off rod instead of reeling it in to not use dura?

the trade-offs makes sense, imo. rod needs closer distance and easier to break, but so much easier to get. spyglass is unlimited use and can be used further, but is so much harder to get
