idk i feel like it would be fun :P it feels natural to me since achievements and chat messages get synced over anyways plus it could have some implications to gap your opponent if they die or maybe see if they death reset or smth

it would be a lot easier and less risky to metagame bc of that though

imo most of the time you die it either just makes you completely lose or just lose for example most nether goals if you die in the nether, telling your opponent that is so much extra information and it takes any remaining pressure from your opponent that is the only thing you have for the few next goals since your progress is reset, also a lot of cases you can figure out if your opp died by information like the tab dimension thing

maybe it could be fun as a lobby setting, but it shouldn't be a thing for comp

I kinda like it because you can intentionally die to threw your opponent off

i can't see a scenario where that's worth the timeloss

like if you're slain by a piglin brute your opponent has no reason assume it was intentional, but the moment you're back in the bastion they can just go back to whatever they were doing

like ig you could intentionally die in the ow with spawn set to fool your opponent but idk if that even matters in any ow situation
Lila

and nether your opponent can just see when you're back

Iโ€™m gonna die and my opponent is gonna type โ€œLOLโ€ and my monitor will end up in both ends of my room at the same time

It's 12-11 and goals left is XP bottle and something else, and there's ocean near spawn. You intentionally die with respawn to trick your opponent that you are going for bottle but in reality you force other goal

i guess

even if it isnt added to comp games, making โ€œshare death messagesโ€ an option in lobby settings would be so good

no because then you'll realize why I haven't gotten a goal in 20 minutes

I like pretending everything is fine when I said I'd do the bastion goals on the coop blackout but really I'm in just stuck in a death loop where I get a wood axe and a boat and run back and die to piglins 10 times without ever once considering actually preparing

I do think it's a little weird that both ranked and draftout share advancements but not death messages. But I think a lot of people like the level of metagaming that emerges from the current amount of shared information.

The main thing I think is strange is seeing opponent dimension, but not deaths. In a normal multiplayer world you can see advancements and deaths, but not dimension. In mcsr ranked you can see advancements and splits, and in draftout you get advancements and dimension. Just an interesting choice for which vanilla info to removes and which non-vanilla info to add.
