In a lobby match, zombified piglins woudn't loose aggro after killing me multiple times.

not sure if it is a bug but enraged mobs do stay hostile even after death, even though forgive_dead_players should default to true
i dont fully know like mcsr rulings and stuff tho

actually idk bc surely this'd mean an iron golem would still be mad after doing die to iron golem? idk i do know that i've had a game where zombie piglins stayed hostile after i did enrage zombie piglin and died

Forgive dead players is enabled, but zombie piglins will not forgive you if they're unloaded while you die I believe, and then the ones that kept agro will pass it on to the ones that lost it

The gamerule on the wiki says: Makes angered neutral mobs within 65 x 21 x 65 blocks centered on the targeted player stop being angry when the player dies.
Which is less than the radius where they can pass aggro to each other, so what fox said makes sense as a vanila bug
