I was playing private lobbies with one of my friends and he was doing the kill 100 mobs goal. He got disconnected because his internet turned off for a second and the progress on the mobs he was killing was completely reset. Idk if this happens on other goals like compost foods but it was a little annoying when it happened.

maybe, i just feel like if the same thing happens in ranked it wouldnt be fun to lose all progress causing you to lose the game or something

You're saying it was only mob kill progress that got reset right, not the entire world?

I had a similar issue, I disconnected and when I came back some of my spyglass progress had disappeared and the goal had been reverted.
