Just played a seed, and checked the seed afterwards and there is no lava pool within 250 blocks. It was a witch hut seed, and half of the land area was ocean so likely failed to spawn there, but two of the lava pools were close but outside of the 250 blocks if my math is correct. There was a small jungle with a jungle temple, so maybe it was supposed to be a jungle temple seed with the lava pools close to it or smth? Not entirely sure how it works.

Spawn: 119 -378

Lava Pool 1: -5 -651
Lava Pool 2: 178 -843
Lava Pool 3: 302 -643

Isnt the lava gen just that it "attempts" to spawn, not that it guarantees it?

yea ik, but with so much land and forests surely at least one of the attempts shud hv been successful

if this is intended then imo it shud check for some space in the land/forest to spawn at least one lava pool

I think this could be made into a suggestion to try forcing it but Idk that’s a bit weird too

I have had multiple jungle seeds with lava pool but they aren’t as common from my experience and I usually only see like 1

in #about-draftout it says '3 lava pools ATTEMPT to spawn'

but its pretty difficult to force 3 lava pools, so the intention might be that there should always be 3, but either way the intention of the current implementation is that 3 lava pools attempt to spawn

yes, except thete were 3 lava pools just outside of the 250 block range so shudnt be that difficult theoretically
