Change how crashing is handled/anticheat

I understand that the reason shutting the game full resets is to prevent editing of world files or similar, but there's nothing more frustrating than crashing and just full losing a game completely out of your hands. I don't have the Minecraft related technical ability to know what an alternative would be, but as it is now can't possibly be the best solution. Apologies for the lack of solution from me, just hoping someone would have an idea of what could be the best way to change this, and wanted to start the discussion.

i do wonder if its possible to compare the world file before and after crashing, or maybe creating backups that are restored instead of full resetting to nothing?

The main issue is that it isn't even an effective anticheat, since it adds new cheating methods that are easier than modifying world files. You can abuse it to reset world for fresh resources, which is much more accessible than knowing how to modify the game files for an advantage.
