Toggle sprint issue

Toggle sprint resets to walking every time I open my inventory. This does not occur on my main 1.16.1 instances, only my draftout one (I use a mouse button for sprint toggle). Is this bug known?

Fairly certain thats a vanilla thing, not related to draftout

I use toggle sprint and this doesn't happen to me, is it still the case when your sprint key is on a keyboard key ?
