The goal isn't much diffenrent from the other brewing goals (the main requierement being killing a blaze) but no Nether Wart is requiered for it, and there's no way to obtain these potions in a structure so Fortress is required for this goal
A downside of this goal would be the goal icon clarity, as the texture of Mudane & Thick potions are the same as the Water Bottle

Kinda like that this is another option that requires actual brewing since everything except invis(?) Is attainable in other structures, but there are a lot of potion goals already

maybe have two separate pools of potion goals (the useful potions and the useless potions), so that doesnt end up making these potions show up rarely compared to the useful ones?

I think there's still a lack of fortress goals so having some more goals like this would be good I think, and it's unique that it doesn't need wart

like you could standardize all the brewing icons and the drink water bottle icon in a way to make this goal visually distinct from the water bottle goal, but even then it'd probably be the most confusing icon in the game

you'd just have to already know what it is and there's no way to intuit it at all, you'd probably have to clutter the icon with brewing ingredients or something

that's the only reason I'm downvoting I think extinguish yourself with splash water bottle fixes the icon problem and is cool

Regarding icon ideas, for thick potion it could be the water potion with glowstone in the corner. For mundane potion it could be water bottle with the various ingredients that could be used to make a mundane potion being cycled through
