draw negotiations

draftout games can be quite long and sometimes both players may not have time to keep playing. but a draw isn't always fair because one player might have built up a significant lead (say 12-10 and the last three goals are very time-consuming).
consequently a spectrum of draws should be added such that the win can be divided up however the players want. instead of the traditional 50/50 draw split, one player could for instance get 70% of the win and the other 30%. the elo change is then calculated accordingly.
the draw button should bring up a draw negotiation menu, which looks like a line that goes from 0 to 100% win share. here players can make draw proposals (by clicking the line) and see the other player’s draw proposal (displayed invertedly on the line). once both players agree on a percentage, the draw goes through.
this way the forfeit button can also be removed. forfeit just becomes the case of the 0% win share draw proposal. it should be implemented as being auto accepted.
the only downside is that it is a bit confusing for new players. the open questions are how to calculate win streaks and forfeit rate under this system. but otherwise it is an improvement that would add a unique selling point to draftout.

draftout games are longer and you can actually track who is ahead because there is a score. so I figured it made even more sense here but apparently I was wrong

you know what I’ll be more fair in that it’s not as bad as ranked in the regard that there is a more concrete definition of who’s winning, and by how much. However the core concept is still just too complicated and unnecessary

as someone whos had to spend 40 mins one game on some of the last goals i think this is a sensible idea on paper but it feels like it would be pretty messy in practice trying to negotiate (plus it can just deviate from actually playing the game) . If you dont want late time consuming goals just dont pick them and pray they aren't picked
