Since draftout is currently mostly using the mcsr ruleset but is willing to make changes, I think it might be helpful to have somewhere to discuss strats for glitches that are currently disallowed but could make sense to allow. Some of these mainly just need to become more known, and are only disallowed because there hasn't been a reason to allow them yet.

https://discord.com/channels/1493030345048719483/1516143900794818651 isn't currently allowed, but since it's unclear whether or not it's a glitch I think it makes sense why it could become allowed.

Another potential "glitch" that I think could use some discussion is the key repeat glitch when you rebind mouse clicks to a keyboard key. This can be used to allow that key when held to rapidly input the "use item" function. A common use of this is helping with consistency when placing the piston in a lot of bedrock breaking setups. Breaking bedrock has been allowed, but rebinding mouse buttons for their key repeat ability isn't currently allowed. There are specific timings that can be used to consistently break bedrock, but this rebind is commonly used to make it easier.

This is a vanilla feature that's unclear whether or not it is a glitch or intended. I personally think it's an intentional feature, or else Mojang would've patched it in the 10 years since it's been discovered. I think it should be allowed, but I know many other people disagree.

Allowing it might have the disadvantage of changing spam click tasks (eg empty hunger, fill composter) into more skill based tasks. The only reason this is a disadvantage (imo, some people think clicking fast is an important skill that needs to be preserved) is because not all mice allow for native rebinding. This would mean that people with many mice would need to use external software to get the full advantages of rebinding, unless they want to play with attack/use somewhere on their keyboard. Some earlier discussion on this (tbh I kinda forgot I had this or I wouldn't have typed so much repeated info into here): https://discord.com/channels/1493030345048719483/1515799132390953000

.
And then there some features/glitches that are a bit unclear whether or not they're allowed glitches or not, but are currently accepted. These inclue things like the damage from feeding a parrot a cookie being attributed to the player, or suspicious sand dropping itself to reduce lag. https://discord.com/channels/1493030345048719483/1518291320102191386/1518481314771107962
These two seem to be fully ok in draftout despite not being expicitly mentioned as allowed, but if anyone finds any other potentially glitched tech like this it might be helpful to check in on it first to see whether it's allowed, or whether it's banned by default
