set my spawn, (in the clip you see it says respawn point set), set up a thing for the dripstone to hit me, died to it, got sent to world spawn. wasnt obstructed because i slept in it but i have no clue how it happened https://medal.tv/games/minecraft/clips/n1reLvLgQ2MsPQABk?invite=cr-MSxYeWksNDUzNjE1NDEw&v=30

Being able to sleep in a bed doesnt mean its not obstructed. You can always sleep in the bed, but if theres no valid spawn spot around it, its considered obstructed. You can go back onto the seed in you worlds menu, and go back to where you placed it to get a screenshot of the bed (if you didnt get back to it afterwards and break it), to see if it was actually obstructed or not, but imma guess this is just vanilla and there wasn't a valid block for you to spawn on
