Add a Draftout content channel

Similar to the ranked content channel, there aren’t that many Draftout videos or tourneys rn, but could encourage them to be made in ranked, title is self explanatory
(If this is a duplicate mb I searched and couldn’t find anything but I’m surprised no one suggested it)

saving the forum post format for suggestions and bug reports and having a singular channel for clips makes sense to me

This is more for well edited videos than clips, kinda like a 9_g for Draftout, or for announcing tourneys

i, again, am not a big fan of self promo channels. you can use #media if you make dedicated edited content. any tourney announcements probably should not be happening here lol maybe twitter is a better spot for that

its rough cause i also do think self promo channels are 90% slop but its quite frustrating to discover more ppl streaming draftout that arent like top top players

i think itd be awesome to have it like official in on the draftout website as an opt-in if you're streaming, and it uses the same like timeline feature as the website uses but in real-time but thats a whole nother can of worms

but yeah from using the ranked promo channels for streams and whatever they're kinda useless and i assume most people dont look and have it muted and itd just be the same 💔

like the fmbot suggestion kinda has the same ending, and that ending can just be applied to every bot and channel that could exist, and the server right now its pretty nice with how simple it is

If a dozen channels and bots get added that most people are going to just mute, then people are more likely to mute and ignore the server as a whole

Yeah its fair it can just be disc slop its really just since draftout is so new im trying find any other streamers to watch cuz even the top runners don't stream very often/very long , and its also a fun enough gamemode im entertained even watching gold players. Idk how draftouttv thing would work but id give whoever wants to do that a virtual high five for sure if it comes through

Ok kinda bumping again because i was thinking about the argument that #media could be used for sharing draftout content but media is almost treated like a general 2 so idk if theres a possibility of something about that changing, like maybe media is literally restricted to just images/links and all text happens in general but currently if someone were to genuinely send a draftout video in media it would be lost to the ether in like 20 minutes, so maybe something could be altered for that to actually be viable

It would maybe be better if media was allowed in general, and #media was locked to media only. Since a lot of what gets put in media is just because it's annoying to look at a picture or video then switch to another channel and ping anyone relevant if you want to talk about it.

Once you start a conversation in media you don't want to switch channels to continue it. But if the conversation starts in general it moves to media after someone posts 1 picture.
