Minimum games played requirement to show on win rate / goal diff leaderboard

Leaderboards should show the players who are the best at the game. It doesn't make sense to me that there are players at the top of the win rate and goal diff leaderboards who haven't played enough games to actually have meaningful stats. I'd personally propose a minimum of 25 but that's based on very little so that number could easily be different.

Alternate but probably worse suggestion is an elo requirement to show on the two side leaderboards but I'm not personally a fan of that one, just another way the same goal could be achieved

Apologies if someone has already suggested this and I don't mean to throw shade at those who are at the top of the leaderboards with few games, winning every game is still impressive, but I would argue mongey and feinberg would make more sense to be at the top due to their impressive win rates over a large amount of games

I think there is a minimum of 5 completions currently but I do definitely think it should be higher to be a better measure

Nah I think minimum games played is good, maybe somewhere between 30-50. It’s like how for mlb rate stats a pitcher/hitter must be “qualified” by having so many starts or plate appearances

yeah, without a good amount of games it's difficult to get an accurate view of skill level

idk if people will agree but i also think if you dont play for a while you should get taken off top 100 kind of like how valorant does it

in val if u dont play in immo+ for a week you get taken down to 0rr until you play a game

I was thinking about this, and like you should be able to sort by number of matches played
Like 10+, 20+, 50+ etc

why not just remove the winrate and goaldiff leaderboards? what useful information does one get from them? it‘s either low sample size players or people who are at the top of the elo leaderboard (which is the one actually useful leaderboard)

I hope this or something similar gets implimented so I can stop seeing 1300s at the top of leaderboards they should be at the top of :)

that person is also clearly cheating so catching cheaters is the one thing the goal diff leaderboard is good for
