Can't see my own chat in game

Can see all other players chats + advancement info + goal info, but any messages I send I can't see. - other players (opponents responding to my messages/people saying they can see it in blackout vc) can see my messages. Also can see my own messages in private lobbies in the waiting room bit, but not once game has started.

At the start of the logs you can see it works:
[15:56:15] [Server thread/INFO]: [Not Secure] <kqrrot222> gg - (me sending the chat)
[15:56:15] [Render thread/INFO]: [CHAT] <kqrrot222> gg - (Chat coming through my logs)

But then 40 minutes later it starts breaking:
[16:36:14] [Server thread/INFO]: [Not Secure] <kqrrot222> -353 380 - (me sending the chat)
[16:36:16] [Server thread/INFO]: [Not Secure] <kqrrot222> -353 380 - (me sending the chat again because it didnt display on my screen)
(and no [CHAT] <kqrrot222> after that except when preceeded by [SYSTEM] which was in private lobby pre game)

Restarting game fixed the bug.

2 Issues Found:

You likely have too much RAM allocated, which can cause lag spikes.

You should allocate 3400-5600 MB by going to Settings > Java in Prism.

Pretty sure its something to do with UK's chat restrictions. Had this happen on different minecraft versions and instances

I just gave in and agreed to let Microsoft harvest my data, and haven't had this bug occur again. Not that that should be the actual solution, but does lean towards it being a chat restriction thing

my account is age verified for whatever reason. i don't remember giving them my ID lmao but maybe I did for developer purposes years ago??

yeah i have the same issue, my chat works fine first match, then doesnt afterwards

in 2040 if you swear in interest you are irl muted for 30m

yesterday when I played the chat worked fine for the first 2-3 games and then not after that. I did not join any servers in between, which I had previously suspected to be the cause.

This happened to me once but once I restarted everything was fine and I have had the problem again evern after ~80 matches
