Golden apple didn't give me any effects

I ate 2 gapples per game. 1st gave me both effects, but 2nd didn't give neither regeneration, nor absorption. Is there any logs of the game, cuz I didn't record that.

maybe there's a chance the local game log could have something? like if there was an exception in the food eating detection code that somehow didn't crash the game, i don't know if that's possible
