Home portal not linking back to original

Went into nether at 11:09:10 11:09:45 exit through home portal 11:13:50 back original portal which is still intact

kekw You likely have too much RAM allocated, which can cause lag spikes.
replyYou should allocate 3400-5600 MB by going to Settings > Java in MultiMC.

idk if that is the correct log as I restarted the game but I have the correct latest log saved if it is needed

I experienced this too, my original portal was underground, it put me back at the surface.
Both portals were around 100 blocks apart.

this is probably due to forcing surface but i've had it make a new portal even though my original portal was already on surface

Yeah this has happened to me too with a surface home portal. I think even if your original portal is underground it should only force surface on blinds and never on going back through a portal
