Filter for resources in outpost, shipwreck, jungle temple, and desert temple seed types

Currently, these structures are not guaranteed to have any useful resources in them and players are often punished for going to them, which (in my opinion) contradicts the purpose of filtering for them in the first place.

I think a guarantee of at least 3 iron in chests would solve this problem, maybe there could be some other interesting items to filter for though

irons basically never the useful resource in any of these. i guess shipwreck

but ideally your opponent will just also go to the structure eventually especially if its the seed type

so they will have the same experience

i like it when theres not anything guaranteed loot wise that you can play around. would be lame if every outpost had carrots or every jungle temple had gold etc

i guess the issue i have is this: why even filter for jungle temple/outpost etc if they're not supposed to be a guaranteed resource of some kind? if the intent is to have no expectations then why even have seed types at all?

make use of the limited resources, resource managment is a HUGE part of draftout and if we added guarantees it really lessens the impact of that part of the game

As it is now the jungle temple seed type is functionally more like a "jungle but you have some guaranteed redstone" seed type and then youre stuck in the jungle for like 20% of ur games

it just feels conceptually unbalanced imo

jungle temple has redstone, tripwire hooks, string, arrows, etc. outposts have lots of wood, and usually have some wheat, carrots, or, potatos, plus a bunch of other random stuff

Also so everybody understands, this isnt speedrunning. The seed doesnt have to be "good" or "fast". People wanted more variety for more strategies of obtaining goals to be used

yeah all of this feels conceptually aligned with just not guaranteeing any structure at all

ya but the structures themselves are valuable is the point

theyre not just used for the chest loot

its about learning whats useful from the structure as a whole

I kinda just question whether having redstone and string justifies an entire seed type at least for the case of jungle temple

the point of including these seed types is that they have interesting resources that could be used for goals. They all have uniqueness (to varying degrees)

refer back to this

not every seed is supposed to be good

jungle temples have interesting unique loot and a decently high knowledge check for all the specific loot in them

I feel like a lot of suggestions are trying to make draftout into ranked ngl, I think having diff amounts of iron force some interesting plays (stonecutter, shears, etc)
