Once a pig makes a weird noise (I don't know how to describe it, it very well may be a new noise they added) then other mobs will make it as well. it is akin to a squid dying but more mammalistic.

yeah vanilla added sound variants for some mobs, including pigs

okidoke! Its just weird that all mobs make the same sounds. Google rendered me no answers when I asked for new pig damage noises :(

a bit late but the minecraft wiki has all the sounds for every mob
