Cocoa beans are seeds in real life (Wikipedia):

The cocoa bean, also known as cocoa (/ˈkoʊ.koʊ/) or cacao (/kəˈkaʊ/),[1] is the dried and fully fermented seed of Theobroma cacao, the cacao tree.

I'm guessing that the task currently only considers items with "Seeds" in their name. It can be really annoying to get beetroot on a bad spawn so this might help. You can either pie ray for minecart chests or pray you find a village that has beetroot seeds. I watched a game yesterday where the last 15 minutes was just looking for beetroot seeds

On another note, Pitcher Pod is a Sniffer item that nobody is ever playing for, but since it's planted on farmland to grow and a pod is a seed, it should be counted just like Torchflower Seeds

objective criteria definitions should be based in vanilla minecraft whenever possible, and i agree that "a seedy place" criteria is perfect for seeds in this case

I think that's fair, nether warts also would make a more interesting game than finding beetroot or melon on bad spawns

- potato
- carrot
- wheat seeds
- pumpkin seeds
- melon seeds
- beetroot seeds
- nether wart
- torchflower seeds
- pitcher pod

I dunno, this completely changes the way you play this goal, since you just find a plains village and get potato carrot beetroot wheat
