The name is a pun on gamemode and goal. I'm a comedy genius I know.

this also doesn't have to be monthly, it can be any time period, consistently or otherwise. It's moreso to get a zinger name y'know?

As this mod evolves, we're going to see dozens, if not hundreds of goals added, removed, or both. It would be interesting for there to be a more... unique way to experience these.

So, my proposal is this:

As an example, let's say we're considering adding three goals this month. For this example, let's say the goals are "Hit a triple neo" "Name a pig technoblade" and "joust a mob" The goals themselves are irrelevant and just for this example.

Now, the way they can be implemented is simple. A limited time custom gamemode with these goals in the pool. Maybe it'll be all 3 guranteed, maybe it'll be "they're just in the pool not even guranteed t show up" and maybe it'll be a random amount of the 3 showing up. That can be played by ear, or decided which one is the best.

Now, in this limited time mode, people are able to live play with these goals without it influencing ELO. There's no way to account for every time a goal just... isn't gonna work out. A goal can sound awesome until it's played a few times and people realize it's not that good, or vice versa.

The basic principle is this allows people to actually live test the newer goals.


And, as a side, it could also just be a fun gamemode... No new goals? Well then the limited time event can just be a board with all the dyed based challanges.


I suppose a good alt name for this would be "Limited time boards/boardstates" but also include testing new goals with it? Shruge
