Amethyst is very rng dependent, and it feels weird how many goals revolve around it and the spyglass.

"obtain smooth basalt" could be a better alternative to "obtain amethyst block"

I agree. If I’m already picking mining-adjacent goals, I don’t mind a spyglass. And rarely are you going to have a seed with no ocean. There are many other objectives in the rotation rn that I’d rather see removed

I like the variety of the spyglass goals because they're quite cool but the main difficulty is basically RNG/long ocean exploration to find amethyst

if it were possible to have like the "spy on 10-25 mobs" be one goal instead of 4 and to have "spy on brute/enderman/iron golem" be 1 goal instead of 3, and both of them just randomize the number of unique mobs to spy on or which specific mob you have to spy on, that'd be good

They definitely upped it since closed beta though, idk if they increased random tick speed before the game or what

was gonna say like 5 types of glass could work of normal glass, stained glass, glass pane, stained glass pane, and tinted glass, but the dyes kinda make it weird

I think it's more just weird that it's represented so hard especially when it's pretty RNG dependent and usually a late game goal

in terms of gameplay it's kinda similar to if "kill witch" was a goal 50% of the time
