Disconnect reconnect loss of progress

Due to network issues i got disconnected and reconnected within 2 mins, after reconnecting, i get sent back to spawn with no items, same thing happened to my opponent so idk if this is intentional. Also I cant confirm this since shortly after i reconnected my opponent forfeited. After the game ended I checked the bingo board I seemed to have lost all my progress in the unique food goals, but then again that might have been due to the game ending.
