I just had this same bug. I was able to reconnect by restarting my game but the world was reset when I spawned back in

Having the same issue after my Game was frozen and I killed it via task manager

Killing java in the task manager and restarting prism seemed to have solved it if anyone stumbles across the same issue

ok this turned out to be my fault, my game didn't crash, only waywall, so i had a background minecraft running the whole time
